Island Peak one of the most sought after trekking peaks for climbing in Nepal is also recognized as Imja Tse. Impressive scenic eye candy scene during the trek will captivate you and it will offer an opportunity to observe wonderful views of Khumbu Valley famous as pleasant climbing peak of Everest area. Island Peak is one of the major climbing peaks in Everest Region with a remarkable and highly frozen up Western Face that ascends from the Lhotse Glacier.

Island Peak not only provides an enjoyable climb but also provides some of the most spectacular scenery of Himalayas in the Everest region. You will be witnessing Nuptse (7,879m), Lhotse (8,501m), Lhotse Middle Peak (8,410m), Lhotse Shar (8,383m),  Makalu (8475m) in the east, Baruntse and Amadablam in the south. On the Island Peak climbing you will also cross the seldom used Chola pass and Kongma La Pass while getting to the top of one of the most popular peaks in the Mount Everest area. Island Peak Climbing can be done in the months between March and May and also September to December.

Island Peak is also known as Imja Tse.Before climbing Island Peak, you trek up the Dudh Kosi Valley from Lukla, passing through Namche and Tengboche on our way to Kala Pattar and Everest Base Camp. After acclimatizing, we trek up the beautiful Imja Khola Valley towards Island Peak. The normal route for climbing Island Peak is South East flank and South-West Ridge.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport and transfer to the hotel

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing day

Day 03: Fly Lukla (2804m.) by domestic helicopter and trek to Phakding (2610m.)

Day 04: Trek Namche Bazaar (3440m.)

Day 05: Free day at Namche Bazaar

Day 06: Trek Tengboche Monastry (3860m.)

Day 07: Trek Dingboche (4350m.)

Day 08: Trek Chukung (4710m.)

Day 09: Trek Island Base Camp (5240m.), overnight at camp

Day 10: Free day at Tented camp

Day 11: Climb the peak (6187m.) and back to Chukung (4760m.)

Day 12: Trek back Tengboche

Day 13: Trek back to Namche Bazaar via Khumjung (2780m.)

Day 14: Trek back Lukla

Day 15: Fly back t Kthmandu

Day 16: Fly back to your destination
Cost includes:
